What You Bring

Rolls‑Royce Submarines, with over 60 years of experience delivering nuclear propulsion plants for the UK Royal Navy, is seeking interns to contribute to projects focused on FPGA design and the improvement of hardware testing infrastructure. You will gain new skills through a blend of digital learning and on‑the‑job training, supported by experts who are invested in your success. Candidates should be studying a degree with a strong electrical or electronic focus, or any STEM discipline, and possess a good understanding of Field‑Programmable Gate Arrays. Flexibility to work across locations, a willingness to travel for rotational ‘gigs’, and an open‑minded, curious approach are essential. Hybrid working is encouraged, with an expectation of three on‑site days per week, and all interns must obtain a Security Check clearance and be a UK national or MoD‑approved dual national. • Eligibility: STEM degree (preferably electrical/electronic), knowledge of FPGAs, UK national or MoD‑approved dual national, and Security Check clearance.
