About the Role
The Maintenance Electrician is a multi‑functional technician who keeps building systems and infrastructure in optimal condition. The role includes inspecting, repairing, and maintaining interior and exterior areas such as electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, material‑handling, robotics, lighting, roofing, and more. The electrician also drives equipment inspection programs and implements best practices to boost mechanical uptime. Typical duties involve maintaining power distribution and critical power systems like UPS and generators, servicing HVAC and related mechanical equipment, and supporting material‑handling and robotic conveyor systems. The technician ensures tools and supplies are stocked, oversees contractors, identifies safety hazards, and keeps regulatory compliance documentation up to date. The position requires flexibility to work various shifts and move extensively throughout the facility to attend to equipment and team members. It also includes training staff on proper tool use, safety, and troubleshooting, as well as promoting professionalism in appearance and conduct. • Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on building electrical, HVAC, refrigeration, and related systems. • Lead, train, and support maintenance team members to develop skills and expand capabilities. • Manage inventory of tools and supplies; submit purchase orders and monitor stock levels. • Oversee contractor activities and ensure safety compliance within the building. • Maintain documentation, including building drawings, single lines, and regulatory compliance records. • Ensure understanding of the Critical Facility Work Authorization (CFWA) process among staff and contractors. • Work flexible shifts and move extensively throughout the facility to respond to equipment needs.

What You Bring
Required qualifications are four or more years of industrial electrical or facility‑maintenance experience, an active state journeyman electrician license, and a high‑school diploma or GED. Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. Preferred experience includes power distribution, UPS/generators, HVAC, fluid‑power systems, automated equipment, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and CMMS. Physical demands include prolonged standing, extensive walking, repetitive bending, crouching, lifting an average of 20 lb (up to 49 lb), and work at heights or in confined, noisy, dusty, or temperature‑extreme environments. • Required: 4+ years industrial electrical/facility maintenance experience, active journeyman electrician license, high school diploma or GED. • Preferred: experience with power distribution, UPS/generators, HVAC, fluid‑power, automated equipment, CMMS, and mentoring. • Physical demands: prolonged standing, walking, repetitive bending, lifting up to 49 lb, work at heights, in confined or harsh environments.
