About the Role

The Environmental Services Field Technician I (Driver Non‑CDL) is responsible for emergency response, hazardous and non‑hazardous spill cleanup, and Hazmat decontamination work. The role involves operating both light and heavy equipment to support cleanup operations. Typical duties include confined‑space entry such as manholes, tank cleaning, oil‑spill removal, drum handling, decontamination, sweeping, shoveling, and high‑pressure washing. The technician operates roll‑off trucks, vacuum trucks, box trucks, skid steers, forklifts, pumps, and pallet‑jacks, and performs pre‑trip and post‑trip DOT inspections and vehicle log maintenance. General housekeeping and equipment maintenance are also required.

What You Bring

Preferred qualifications include the ability to use heavy and light equipment, proficiency with hand and shop tools, and strong attention to detail. Minimum requirements are a valid driver’s license with DOT qualification (Non‑CDL) for vehicles between 10k‑26k pounds and the ability to complete 40‑hour HAZWOPER training upon hire.
