About the Role

Job Title: Pass Administrator • Submarines. Working location: Raynesway, Derby (5 days a week – office based). The role involves issuing Rolls‑Royce site ID passes for employees, embedded contractors and customers, entering data into a database, chasing missing information and handling telephone and email enquiries. You will work closely with the Security team, assisting with access control queries, investigations, access logs, system and user audits, ordering pass peripherals, and reporting any issues with access control software or hardware. Key responsibilities include producing site ID badges within given timeframes, managing short‑notice requests, photographing applicants and checking photographic standards, applying extensions and additional access controls, and conducting audit checks to ensure compliance with site and MoD policy. You will also monitor stock and order pass peripherals, support site inductions, handle access queries through professional communication, and organise and prioritize your workload to complete administrative tasks accurately and efficiently. • Issue and manage Rolls‑Royce site ID passes for employees, contractors and customers. • Enter pass data into the database and follow up on missing application information. • Respond to telephone and email enquiries regarding access control. • Collaborate with the Security team on investigations, access logs and system audits. • Order and maintain pass peripherals and report hardware/software issues. • Produce badges, photograph applicants, verify photo standards, and apply extensions. • Conduct audit checks to ensure compliance with site and MoD policies. • Monitor stock levels and place orders for pass supplies. • Support site inductions and handle access queries with professional communication. • Prioritise and organise workload to deliver accurate administrative results. • Provide excellent customer service and interpersonal support in a fast‑paced environment.

What You Bring

The role requires excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, the ability to think quickly and react appropriately in a potentially challenging environment, and adherence to Rolls‑Royce values. Successful candidates will have previous experience with security systems and managing site ID passes, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and have solid customer service and administrative experience. Applicants must hold a Security Check clearance; Rolls‑Royce will support the application if needed. Only UK nationals or MoD‑approved dual nationals can be considered. The selection process may include an online assessment of cognitive and behavioural aptitude.
