About the Role

As a Mechatronics & Robotics Technician you will support the Operations Maintenance team by repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building. You will also install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, and have the opportunity to mentor junior technicians to help them grow in their roles. Your day‑to‑day responsibilities include promoting a safe working environment by following all safety procedures, completing preventive maintenance routines with proper documentation, troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problems on material handling equipment, and maintaining a positive working relationship across the operations facility. You will also track and store department inventory, work shifts up to 12 hours, lift up to 49 lb, and may travel up to 20% of the time. • Repair and maintain material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot automated packaging and distribution equipment. • Perform preventive maintenance routines and document all work. • Mentor junior technicians to develop their skills. • Follow all safety procedures and promote a safe work environment. • Track and manage department inventory.

What You Bring

Required qualifications are a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights and holidays, and at least 2 years of experience repairing material handling equipment and conducting predictive and preventive maintenance procedures. Preferred qualifications include an associate or higher degree in a mechanical or electrical field, 2 years of experience with automated conveyor systems and controls, at least 1 year of blueprint and electrical schematic reading, and familiarity with CMMS, robotics, and OEM safety standards. • Travel up to 20% of the time as needed. • Meet physical requirements: lift up to 49 lb, stand/walk 12‑hour shifts, work in confined or noisy environments. • Required: high school diploma or equivalent; 2+ years MHE repair and preventive maintenance experience; flexible schedule. • Preferred: associate degree in mechanical/electrical field; experience with conveyor systems, blueprint reading, CMMS, robotics, and OEM safety standards.
