About the Role
In this role you will safely operate a heavy‑duty truck on transfer routes, adhering to all safety, occupational, and transportation regulations while maintaining a clean and safe vehicle. • Operate a heavy‑duty truck safely on assigned transfer routes, complying with OSHA, DOT, and local regulations. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report (DVIR) and report issues promptly. • Notify Operations Manager or Dispatch of unsafe conditions, incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage. • Participate in required training, briefings, and meetings; collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency. • Assist fellow drivers as directed and handle customer requests or issues through Dispatch/Operations. • Dump containers, clean the site, and position containers correctly to avoid obstructing driveways or traffic. • Complete and submit customer tickets for excess yardage and finalize all route documentation at day’s end.

What You Bring
Candidates may need a REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative for travel or access to federal property, and the company will support obtaining the required identification. • Hold a valid Commercial Driver’s License (Class B), be at least 18 years old, and maintain an acceptable driving record. • Pass pre‑employment DOT drug screening, physical, background check, and motor‑vehicle‑record review.
