About the Role

In this position you will be responsible for receiving, verifying, and transporting materials needed for production while keeping the work area clean, organized, and safe. You will conduct routine equipment maintenance to sustain efficiency and meet strict performance standards that align with production schedules and nVent’s world‑class quality. Rotational assignments will expose you to various production needs, and you will actively contribute to continuous‑improvement projects and communicate any equipment or material issues. • Receive, verify, and transport production materials. • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. • Perform regular equipment maintenance to ensure efficiency. • Meet production schedules and uphold product quality standards. • Participate in rotational assignments and continuous improvement initiatives. • Communicate issues related to equipment, operations, or materials.

What You Bring

The role requires a high‑school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of experience in a manufacturing environment. Candidates must possess basic reading, writing and math skills, understand material‑flow processes, safety procedures, and be able to read blueprints and use measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers. Physical ability to lift 50 lb and handle steel coil material, along with a positive attitude for high‑stress situations, is essential. • High school diploma or equivalent required. • At least one year of manufacturing experience. • Basic reading, writing, and math skills. • Knowledge of material flow processes, safety procedures, and blueprint reading. • Ability to operate material handling equipment and use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers). • Physical ability to lift 50 lb and handle steel coil material. • Positive attitude and ability to work under high stress. • Innovative and adaptable.
