About the Role
The Tower Foreman leads daily site construction efforts, ensures the crew meets production goals, and maintains high‑quality workmanship. Responsibilities include overseeing operations, managing paperwork, coordinating with customers, and providing leadership and training to the crew. The foreman also ensures compliance with safety policies, industry standards, and company procedures. • Lead daily site construction work to meet production goals. • Implement MasTec Communications Group Health Safety and Environmental Policies. • Apply industry standards (OSHA, TIA‑10‑48, NATE CTS, ANSI) on site. • Ensure safety requirements for crew and site. • Oversee daily operations and quality of work at assigned sites. • Maintain and submit daily paperwork and timesheets. • Follow job instructions from leadership and compile closeout documentation. • Upload closeout documents to customer interfaces and coordinate with customer representatives. • Provide leadership, guidance, and training to crew members. • Keep equipment and vehicles in operational condition. • Mentor less‑experienced technicians.

What You Bring
Candidates must have at least five years of industry experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a proven record of quality work and safety awareness. Strong construction, rigging, and safety knowledge, along with the ability to read plans and lead a crew, are essential. Required certifications include a valid driver’s license; additional certifications such as WSA, First Aid, and equipment‑specific training are a plus. • Minimum 5 years of industry experience. • High school diploma or GED. • Expertise in construction, rigging, safety, and general industry knowledge. • Working knowledge of safety standards and regulations. • Possess certifications such as First Aid, Safety, Rescue, Wiltron, Anritsu, Fiber, PIM, CPR, Connector attachment; WSA certification is a plus. • Strong organizational, computer, and communication skills. • Ability to read and interpret site plans, RFDS, construction drawings, and SOW. • Valid driver’s license meeting company policy. • Ability to maintain FDOT log books (training provided). • Capability to lead, teach, and train proper work and safety procedures. • Physical fitness to climb towers, lift 50 lb, and work up to 12 hours. • Proficient in paperwork management (Excel, Word, etc.).
