About the Role
The Relationship Manager for a Key Client will anchor our Enterprise Client Program, ensuring the client remains at the heart of everything we do. This role drives exceptional client experiences, fosters long‑term relationships, and supports GHD’s position as an industry leader. The goal is to help the Key Client Portfolio achieve revenue growth of $5‑10 million by 2030. As a leader, you will coach and mentor a high‑performing Client Engagement Team, guiding them through every stage of the client journey. You will collaborate across geographies and cultures, representing the client’s perspective while identifying growth opportunities and sharing best practices. Continuous improvement of client relationships, experiences, and delivery is essential to meet profitability targets. The position requires a strategic mindset to develop and execute multi‑year growth plans, build advisor relationships using Strategic Account Leadership, and optimise investments that align with the client’s values. It also involves overseeing financial performance, maintaining accurate client data, and championing a culture of learning and insight sharing. Strong collaboration with the Executive Sponsor and senior leadership ensures top‑level connections and effective project acquisition. • Lead and mentor a high‑performing Client Engagement Team. • Develop and execute yearly Growth and Client Interaction Plans for a 3‑5 year horizon. • Build lasting advisor relationships using Strategic Account Leadership methods. • Identify growth opportunities and deliver tailored solutions based on client business and market trends. • Maintain deep knowledge of the client’s policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. • Promote a learning culture that captures lessons learned and shares insights organization‑wide. • Optimise investments to align with client growth ambitions and improve service utilisation. • Drive financial performance by setting goals, monitoring data, and improving proposal win rates. • Develop a forward‑looking opportunity pipeline and participate in project acquisition activities. • Ensure accuracy of client data in Salesforce and provide regular performance updates to leadership. • Actively seek client feedback, resolve complex issues quickly, and collaborate for effective solutions. • Partner with the Executive Sponsor to build top‑level client relationships. • Champion client project delivery onboarding processes to align with client objectives. • Create multi‑mode communications for diverse stakeholder groups. • Continuously develop personal capabilities through formal and informal training. • Leverage account‑based marketing to increase engagement and qualify new leads. • Mentor the next generation of client leaders.

What You Bring
Successful candidates will hold a Bachelor’s degree and have 8‑10 years of experience in client management or business development within complex, multi‑layered environments. They must demonstrate strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder‑engagement skills, as well as the ability to thrive in fast‑paced settings while delivering meticulous, data‑driven insights.
