About the Role
In this role you will prepare civil and hydraulic engineering calculations for water and wastewater planning and design projects, and apply your expertise in designing transmission, distribution, conveyance and treatment civil infrastructure. You will coordinate resources, oversee budgets and timelines, and develop project/design management skills, including required training. You will also lead or support proposal preparation, deliver client presentations, manage multiple concurrent tasks, and mentor junior team members. • Prepare civil and hydraulic engineering calculations for water and wastewater projects. • Design transmission, distribution, conveyance, and treatment infrastructure (pipelines, storage, pump stations). • Coordinate resources, oversee budgets and timelines for multidisciplinary design teams. • Develop project/design management skills and undertake required training. • Lead proposal development and deliver client presentations to secure work. • Manage multiple concurrent tasks and priorities proactively. • Mentor junior team members and facilitate knowledge sharing. • Apply hydraulic design expertise, including network modelling and pumped systems. • Deliver projects with a strong focus on client service and successful outcomes. • Manage resources, budgets, and quality on medium to large scale projects. • Integrate civil design with mechanical, electrical, process, drafting, and geotechnical disciplines. • Produce high-quality reports, proposals, and other written deliverables.

What You Bring
We are looking for candidates with design experience in water and wastewater pipelines, storage facilities, pump stations and related civil infrastructure, as well as hydraulic design expertise such as network modelling, pumped systems, gravity sewers and open channels. Strong client-service focus, proven relationship-building, and effective communication are essential. Experience managing resources, budgets, timelines and quality on medium to large projects, business development success, multidisciplinary integration, and high-quality written reports and proposals are also required.
