About the Role
In this role you will inspect, repair, and test a variety of company equipment, including trucks, trailers, mini excavators and generators. You will manage work orders and expense reports digitally, keep tools and workstations orderly, and track project priorities to meet deadlines. • Inspect and repair company equipment (trucks, trailers, mini excavators, generators) safely, timely, and cost‑effectively. • Perform road tests and operational checks to verify repair quality. • Prepare and maintain records and reports. • Complete work orders on an iPad. • Submit digital expense reports promptly. • Monitor project priorities and deadlines. • Maintain clean, safe, and presentable tools and workstations.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license (CDL preferred), and a DOT medical card before starting. You bring extensive heavy‑truck and equipment repair experience, knowledge of diagnostics, brake work, basic welding, and familiarity with specific brands such as Vermeer, Ditch Witch, Altec, POSI Plus, Versa Lift, and Terex. Strong problem‑solving, communication, and safety focus are essential, along with the ability to work independently and handle long‑term projects. • High School diploma or equivalent. • Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus. • Knowledge of vehicle/equipment repairs, preventative maintenance, and diagnostics. • Ability to conduct tune‑ups, hydraulic and air brake jobs, and basic wiring. • Extensive heavy‑truck/heavy‑equipment repair experience. • Proficiency with cutting torch and basic welding. • Familiarity with Vermeer/Ditch Witch drills, plows, and mix systems. • Experience with Altec, POSI Plus, Versa Lift, and Terex aerial units. • Strong verbal communication skills. • Precise hand‑eye coordination. • Capability to work with minimal supervision. • Vision clarity 20/20 and ability to judge distance and space relationships. • Safety‑focused mindset and track record of high‑quality work. • Problem‑solving, hands‑on approach, and team collaboration.
