About the Role
The Business Analyst acts as a liaison between Technology and the business for new system requests and enhancements. Responsibilities include advanced business process analysis, needs assessments, preliminary cost/benefit analysis, project scoping, and requirements elicitation and documentation, while also providing leadership and mentoring to junior analysts. The role leads requirements gathering and analysis for large, complex projects and serves as the primary bridge between business users and IT developers throughout the project lifecycle. What You Bring
The analyst contributes advanced knowledge in defining system scope and objectives aligned with the organization’s business plan, documents requirements, and manages communication with stakeholders at all levels. They coordinate working sessions to capture business and user requirements, process flows, and functional specifications, maintain the project documentation library, ensure quality of deliverables, and work with QE to create test plans and obtain user acceptance. Education requirements include a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, Business Administration or an equivalent combination of a high school diploma/GED with four years of relevant experience. A minimum of five years of related work experience is required, with CCBA or CBAP certification and SQL proficiency preferred. Key skills include advanced requirements analysis across cross‑functional systems, leadership and mentorship abilities, deep technical understanding of IT systems, databases, cloud technology and software development methodologies (Agile and Waterfall), as well as risk and change management capabilities. The role may require travel by air; candidates must possess or be willing to obtain a REAL ID or a TSA‑approved alternative to access federal property or fly for business purposes. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS, Business Administration or equivalent with 5+ years’ experience. • Preferred CCBA/CBAP certification and SQL proficiency. • Advanced knowledge of IT systems, cloud, databases, and Agile/Waterfall methodologies.

The work environment follows a standard office setting Monday‑Thursday with a work‑from‑home option on Friday. The expected base salary range across the United States is $95,700 to $140,000, with eligibility for bonus pay.
