About the Role

The Safety, Health, Environment and Wellbeing (SHE&W) Business Partner supports the purposeful improvement of SHE&W culture and works with business leaders to develop and drive a high level of SHE&W expectations and behaviors wherever we work. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing SHE&W policies, strategies and programs aligned with AECOM objectives; conducting risk assessments and audits for regulatory compliance; providing expert advice to management and staff; facilitating training and awareness programs; monitoring and reporting performance metrics; engaging stakeholders on wellbeing and mental-health initiatives; and integrating SHE&W considerations into all project phases. • Develop and implement SHE&W policies, strategies, and programs aligned with corporate objectives. • Conduct risk assessments and compliance audits for health, safety, and environmental regulations. • Provide expert SHE&W guidance and support to management and employees. • Facilitate training and awareness initiatives to promote a safety‑first culture. • Monitor, analyze, and report SHE&W performance metrics and trends. • Engage stakeholders to advance wellbeing programs and mental‑health support. • Integrate SHE&W considerations throughout all phases of project delivery. • Partner with leaders to reinforce SHE&W expectations and behaviors.

What You Bring

We are looking for candidates with a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science or a related field, at least ten years of SHE&W management experience—preferably in engineering or construction—and strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation. Preferred qualifications include NEBOSH or an equivalent certification, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline. • Possess at least 10 years of SHE&W management experience, ideally in engineering or construction. • Demonstrate strong knowledge of relevant health, safety, and environmental legislation. • NEBOSH or equivalent qualification preferred. • Exhibit excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. • Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.
