About the Role

Additional responsibilities include supporting business development across multiple business units by preparing scopes of work, fee estimates, proposals, and fostering strong client relationships. • Lead and supervise project survey teams across urban, rural, and remote areas in Washington and the Pacific Northwest. • Manage varied survey projects including control, boundary, subdivision, ALTA, topographic, 3D scanning, UAV LiDAR, construction staking, and bathymetric surveys. • Oversee project management tasks such as business development, quality control, tracking, and client communication. • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members. • Ensure compliance with technical, contractual, and safety requirements throughout project lifecycle. • Perform quality control checks on calculations and final deliverables. • Conduct project research, logistics planning, and review of plats and legal descriptions. • Maintain adherence to company policies and safety plans.

What You Bring

The successful candidate must hold a Washington Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) registration or obtain it within six months, and CFedS certification is highly desirable. A bachelor’s degree in Geomatics or a related field is preferred, and at least ten years of surveying and mapping experience with three years of project management experience are required. Technical proficiency with Trimble equipment, Civil3D (2022 or newer), and Microsoft Office is essential, along with strong interpersonal and communication skills. • Hold Washington Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) registration (or obtain within 6 months); CFedS certification preferred. • Possess a bachelor's degree in Geomatics or a related field (preferred). • Bring at least 10 years surveying/mapping experience and 3 years project management experience. • Proficient with Trimble equipment, Civil3D (2022+), and Microsoft Office. • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills. • Ability to work effectively in both field and office environments and travel as needed. • Offer reliable attendance, punctuality, and a valid driver's license meeting insurability standards.

Benefits

Compensation ranges from $130,000 to $180,000 annually, with base pay adjusted for knowledge, skills, experience, and location. The package may include restricted stock units and a full suite of benefits such as medical, dental, life insurance, PTO, 401(k), and professional development opportunities.
