About the Role

In this role you will lead electrical design efforts, develop system layouts and calculations, and provide technical leadership across large projects. You will establish design standards, budgets, and schedules, manage staff resources, and ensure quality through QA/QC processes while contributing to business development and networking activities. • Lead and supervise electrical design teams on multiple projects. • Develop trade‑specific system designs, layouts, calculations, and specifications. • Prepare and review engineering drawings, reports, and due‑diligence documentation. • Establish project budgets, schedules, and design standards. • Perform Engineer of Record duties, including equipment selection and construction administration. • Manage staff resources and conduct QA/QC reviews of completed work. • Represent the firm with clients, contractors, architects, and project teams. • Conduct business development and networking activities. • Participate in trade organizations and deliver presentations. • Ensure E&O compliance and address discipline‑specific issues.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program. • Minimum 7 years of MEP electrical design experience. • Proficient in hands‑on design using CAD/Revit and complex calculations. • FE/EIT certification required; PE license preferred. • Knowledge of various building systems and ability to perform equipment selection.
