About the Role
As a Senior Electrical Engineer you will represent the firm in interactions with clients, contractors, architects, and other project team members, creating basic designs under the direction of the supervising engineer, and developing specifications, system narratives, and layouts for a variety of projects. • Establish design standards, specifications, and criteria for projects • Supervise preparation of reports and analysis of system options and building conditions • Maintain interdisciplinary coordination with other trades and project consultants • Monitor all correspondence between staff, clients, contractors, owners, etc. • Supervise construction administrative duties such as field reports, RFI responses, processing bulletins and addenda • Conduct periodic objective and comprehensive employee evaluations • Assist in business unit technical training and staff mentoring

We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team in either our Tampa or Jacksonville, FL offices. Your experience working in a consulting firm on healthcare projects will ensure your success in this role. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution, has 8–15 years of experience in a Florida consulting firm within the MEP industry, and is a licensed Professional Engineer. Hands‑on design and CAD/Revit experience are required, and project‑management skills are a plus. • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institution • 8–15 years’ experience in a Florida consulting firm within the MEP engineering industry • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required • Hands‑on design and CAD/Revit experience • Project management skills a plus, including managing an internal design team
