About the Role
The Assembler II is responsible for a broad range of knowledge and skills in assembly, in operations identified as key to the business, where testing, troubleshooting, and strong understanding of the product and process are essential to deliver high-quality and productive results in our assembly line. Use established power checking procedures and equipment to verify the electrical/mechanical integrity of units assembled. Perform all assignments within the acceptable quantity and perfect quality requirements. The Assembler II performs the assigned function from oral and/or written instructions, drawings, or other manufacturing information. Handle materials in accordance with established procedures and maintain quality standards by inspecting and testing finished products to ensure conformance with specifications and codes. Maintain expected progress of jobs in area of assignment and communicate problem areas or parts shortages. Handle all finished products for shipment, call carriers and load materials into carrier's vehicles. Observe good housekeeping and safety procedures and keep equipment, tools and work area clean and orderly by performing 5‑S duties; lift 35 lb with reasonable accommodation as required. • Verify electrical/mechanical integrity of assembled units using power checking procedures. • Inspect and test finished products to ensure compliance with specifications and codes. • Follow oral or written instructions, drawings, and manufacturing information. • Handle materials and coordinate shipments, loading carriers with finished products. • Report job progress, problem areas, and part shortages to supervisors. • Perform 5S housekeeping and maintain a clean, orderly work area; lift up to 35 lb with accommodation. • Operate manual, electric, and pneumatic tools, drill press, press brake, forklift, jib crane, and measurement/testing equipment.

What You Bring
Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution. No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Active‑Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. Experience in electrical equipment manufacturing and assembly (panelboards/switchboards preferred) is required. Position criteria include experience using various tools such as manual/electric/pneumatic tools, drill press, press brake, fork truck, jib crane, templates/fixtures, hand carts, measuring and testing equipment, storage/packaging materials, and prescribed safety equipment. Must be able to interact and contribute in a small team environment. • Hold a high school diploma or GED. • Possess experience in electrical equipment manufacturing/assembly, preferably panelboards or switchboards. • Ability to lift 35 lb (reasonable accommodation available). • Active‑Duty military candidates exempt from geographic limitation.
