About the Role

The role sits within JLL’s regional Programme Management vertical and is responsible for delivering capital planning services to an industrial sector client, including building, maintaining and reporting against a multiyear capital plan, overseeing the technology platform, data quality, stakeholder reporting, project prioritization and strategic advisory. Key responsibilities include managing the tactical building of multi‑year real‑estate capital plans, leveraging cost estimating, financial forecasting, schedule management and construction expertise to identify opportunities for clients to save time, money and reduce risk, and generating insights such as bundling, strategic sourcing and scenario planning. Day‑to‑day activities involve gathering and processing project requests, analyzing client data for efficiency gains, reviewing scope, budget and schedule alignment, conducting stakeholder review meetings, ensuring accurate capital forecasts, building rapport with client functional areas, driving technology adoption and continuously improving best‑practice standards. • Build and maintain multi‑year capital plans for industrial sector clients. • Advise clients on plan performance, utilization, and risk mitigation. • Analyze client data to identify bundling, strategic sourcing, and prioritization opportunities. • Manage the capital planning technology platform, ensuring data accuracy and BI reporting. • Lead stakeholder meetings to review project scope, budget, schedule, and business justification. • Collaborate with JLL account teams to deliver integrated real‑estate solutions. • Drive technology enablement and adoption across internal and external stakeholders. • Develop and enforce best‑practice standards and governance for capital planning processes.

What You Bring

This senior‑level Capital Planning Manager position requires at least 10 years of hands‑on experience in construction project and programme management, a strong technical understanding of construction, and proven expertise managing capital projects in compliance‑heavy industrial sectors. Required qualifications include a bachelor’s degree (preferably in finance, quantity surveying, engineering or construction management), 10 + years of experience in real‑estate and construction programme management, expertise in developing project charters, ROM estimating, and a solid understanding of construction finance principles. Preferred qualifications are strong Excel skills, experience with Smartsheets and Power BI, familiarity with industry‑standard project management information systems, and professional certifications such as PMP or MRICS. • Minimum 10 years experience in construction project and programme management in compliance‑heavy sectors. • Bachelor’s degree in finance, engineering, construction management or related field. • Expert knowledge of MEPFS, architectural construction, cost estimating, and financial forecasting. • Proficiency in Excel; experience with Smartsheets and Power BI preferred. • Professional certifications such as PMP or MRICS are advantageous.
