About the Role

• Analyze codes, standards, and contract documents to ensure construction compliance. • Inspect all construction and subcontractor work for safety and workmanship. • Verify equipment settings, alignment, testing, and energization. • Review detailed drawings, specifications, and health‑safety updates. • Ensure contractor adherence to contract standards and specifications. • Maintain daily records of labor and equipment resources. • Conduct site supervision and inspections as directed by Resident Engineer (RE) or Assistant RE (ARE). • Coordinate daily follow‑up with the contractor on resources, safety, and equipment needs. • Prepare daily reports for RE/ARE covering work orders, material deliveries, and inspection programs. • Implement site quality control procedures and record material tests and executed works. • Assist RE/ARE with correspondence and resolve site problems promptly. • Monitor start‑up, commissioning, handover, and maintain project milestone records.

What You Bring

The Inspector role involves a broad cross‑section of complex technical and administrative activities, requiring extensive experience in quality control and assurance inspection of construction work. • Hold a high school/technical diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural or related engineering field. • Possess at least 7 years experience (engineering graduate) or 9+ years (technical diploma) or 14+ years (high‑school) in similar construction inspection work.
