About the Role
The operator will run motor graders and other grading equipment to perform grading and fine‑grading tasks, conduct daily pre‑ and post‑inspections with proper documentation, perform servicing and maintenance as directed, communicate effectively, and adhere to all company policies and OSHA/MSHA/environmental safety regulations. • Operate motor grader and other grading equipment for grading and fine‑grading tasks. • Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained. • Conduct daily pre‑ and post‑inspections with documentation per company policy. • Lift and carry objects up to 100 lbs; use hand tools, tape measure, and climb on equipment as needed. • Participate in a 401(k) plan with company match after one year of service.

Rogers Group is seeking an experienced Motor Grader “Finish Grade” Operator for its Cookeville, TN and Upper Cumberland operations. The successful candidate will lead safety, quality, and revenue generation across existing and growing operations. Candidates must have 1–3 years of finish‑grading experience, be dedicated to safety, and preferably be experienced with GPS control. Flexibility for overtime, weekends, and night work is required, along with a valid driver’s license, team‑player attitude, and the ability to work independently in various weather and noise conditions. • Communicate effectively and follow all safety regulations (OSHA/MSHA/Environmental). • Possess 1–3 years of finish‑grading experience; GPS control experience preferred. • Demonstrate dedication to safety and flexibility for overtime, weekends, and night shifts. • Maintain a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and a clean driving record. • Work independently and as a team player in noisy, outdoor, all‑weather conditions. • Pass pre‑employment drug screen and provide required I‑9 documentation.
