About the Role
Job Summary: Responsible for specialized warehouse tasks in receiving, inventory, customer service, and order processing. Nature and Scope: The role refers complex, unusual problems to a supervisor and, under general supervision, exercises judgment in accordance with well‑defined policies, procedures, and techniques. Work typically involves regular review of output by a senior coworker or supervisor, with no additional supervisory responsibilities. • Receive, count, and record shipment data into the system • Match packing list information to actual packed merchandise • Prepare packages and merchandise for storage • Record receiving data using a computer • Pack, unpack, and label stock items with tags, stamps, or electronic tools • Identify incorrect or short‑shipped items and notify the supervisor • Deliver products, supplies, and equipment to designated areas • Operate forklift or other machinery as needed • Verify computations against physical stock counts • Inspect stock items for wear and defects • Maintain a clean and organized work area • Follow and promote company safety policies and procedures • Perform order layout and adjust carriers or picking methods as required

What You Bring
Work Environment: Typically located in a comfortable setting but with regular exposure to temperature extremes, moving machinery, loud noises, and fumes. Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, stand for periods exceeding 60 minutes, and perform repetitive movements. Overnight travel is required less than 10% of the time. Education and Experience: HS Diploma or GED is strongly preferred; specialized skills training or certification may be required; generally 2‑5 years of relevant experience. Minimum pay is $21.15. White Cap operates nearly 400 branches across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 7,000 employees, offering nearly 450,000 SKUs to about 150,000 customers.
