About the Role
The Maintenance Technician supports the operation, troubleshooting, diagnostics, housekeeping, and repairs of commercial buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, grounds, and maintenance equipment for assigned properties. • Troubleshoot and repair building systems, including packaging machinery, plumbing, kitchen equipment, roofs, drains, grounds equipment, and HVAC. • Clean, lubricate, and service pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, and electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices. • Install and modify building equipment and systems. • Replace and repair finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, wallpaper, and paint walls, piping, floors, and equipment. • Evaluate maintenance operations and recommend upgrades or cost‑saving opportunities. • Respond immediately to emergencies and customer service requests. • Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions and perform preventative maintenance. • Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems, including fire alarms and fire pumps. • Perform carpentry tasks and snow removal as needed. • Follow applicable codes, regulations, company directives, and practice safe work habits. • Utilize technology such as smartphones, tablets, computers, web‑based applications, and building automation systems. • Complete all required C&W safety training annually. • Adhere to C&W uniform dress code and maintain a neat appearance on and off the property.

What You Bring
• Demonstrate competent use and care of facility and ground maintenance tools and equipment. • Apply technical proficiency, initiative, flexibility, multi‑tasking, and a sense of urgency. • Hold a High School Diploma or GED equivalent. • Possess 2+ years of related experience in a commercial property setting. • Have technical or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry, or engine repair. • Maintain a valid driver’s license with a good driving record; commercial license may be required. • Possess basic computing skills in Outlook, Excel, and Word.
