About the Role
The Financial Accountant will prepare monthly journal entries, account reconciliations, credit card analysis, and account reviews. They will serve as backup to other team members in the accounting group as needed and act as a well‑rounded financial and accounting professional. Responsibilities include entering financial data into the general ledger, preparing monthly journal entries, reconciling balance‑sheet accounts on a monthly/quarterly basis, ensuring control policies are followed, performing account and credit‑card analysis, supporting accounts payable and receivable functions, assisting in month‑end and year‑end closing processes, and collaborating with other departments to resolve accounting issues. • Prepare monthly journal entries and reconcile balance‑sheet accounts. • Perform credit‑card analysis and record transactions in the general ledger. • Support accounts payable/receivable and assist with month‑end and year‑end closing. • Collaborate with other departments to resolve accounting issues. • Maintain GAAP compliance and follow control policies.

What You Bring
Required qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration, 2‑3 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, and a thorough understanding of accounting procedures and GAAP. Preferred experience includes working in the manufacturing industry. Desired competencies are detail‑orientation, high motivation, flexibility, personal effectiveness, collaboration skills, self‑starter attitude, time management, strong Excel and QuickBooks abilities, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to ask for help when needed. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Business Administration with 2‑3 years of relevant experience. • Demonstrate detail‑orientation, strong Excel/QuickBooks skills, and a self‑starter attitude.
