About the Role

The Leasing Consultant serves as the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, delivering warm and energetic service to create lasting positive impressions. The role coordinates marketing, leasing, and renewal strategies to meet occupancy and revenue retention goals while managing time efficiently and maintaining detail‑oriented, trustworthy teamwork. • Walk marketing tour path, open target viewing apartments, and ensure clean, rent‑ready units and amenities. • Respond promptly to resident and prospective resident calls and emails each morning. • Convert incoming calls into walk‑in traffic and set viewing appointments. • Tour prospective residents with energy and enthusiasm following the Weidner way. • Facilitate and process applications immediately after tours. • Communicate timely and respectfully with applicants regarding results. • Follow the Weidner Move‑In Experience for all approved applicants. • Maintain and follow up on traffic in the leasing queue. • Shop competitive properties monthly and adhere to daily marketing and leasing strategies. • Keep market‑ready apartments, common areas, and amenities clean to Weidner’s quality standards. • Assist with lease renewals promptly and promote resident retention. • Complete tasks safely and efficiently in a fast‑paced environment. • Follow Weidner’s mission, vision, values, policies, and all Fair Housing and legal regulations. • Maintain prompt attendance, adhere to dress code/uniform, and present a professional appearance. • Maintain reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license, vehicle, and insurance at all times.

What You Bring

Success in this position requires strong customer‑service skills, the ability to follow company policies and Fair Housing regulations, and a commitment to professional appearance and punctual attendance. Flexibility to work occasional extended hours, assist other Weidner properties, and maintain reliable transportation is also essential. • Prior customer service experience required. • Communicate professional directions clearly in person, phone, email, and text. • Microsoft Office experience preferred; Yardi and Paycom experience preferred. • Work effectively in a team or independently; flexible to work outside scheduled hours and at other Weidner properties as needed. • Detail‑oriented, well‑organized with working knowledge of English. • Agree to background check and voluntary drug testing.
