About the Role

The Assembler II position is located in Irvine, CA, and involves assembling parts or units into larger assemblies or frames using a variety of hand and power tools. The role also includes disassembling and reassembling products that are returned for repair. All work is guided by routing sheets, operating instruction sheets, or other documentation to ensure proper assembly. During the assembly process, the employee performs visual inspections of units and may serve as an operator/inspector for fellow team members. Completed units are inspected, tested, and adjusted to verify they meet required specifications and tolerances. The assembler determines the necessary tooling and special gauging needed for each task. • Assemble, position, align, and fasten units using hand and power tools. • Disassemble and reassemble returned products for repair. • Utilize tools such as pliers, wrenches, screwdrivers, arbor press, vises, soldering iron, micrometers, calipers, and indicators. • Follow routing sheets, operating instructions, and documentation to ensure proper assembly. • Perform visual inspections during and after assembly; act as operator/inspector when needed. • Inspect, test, and adjust completed units to meet specifications and tolerances. • Determine required tooling and special gauging for tasks. • Maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with 5S standards. • Adhere to safety protocols, wear PPE, and meet departmental safety goals. • Read and interpret blueprints and written work instructions.

Safety is a top priority; the assembler must use personal protective equipment, follow safe operating procedures, and contribute to departmental safety objectives. The work area must be kept clean, organized, and orderly in accordance with 5S standards. This position is subject to International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and is limited to U.S. Persons as defined by ITAR. Candidates must hold a High School Diploma or GED and have at least two years of experience in mechanical assembly. They should be able to read and interpret blueprints and written work instructions, communicate effectively, and thrive in a team‑driven environment. Ability to work from written instructions and interact collaboratively are essential. • Comply with ITAR regulations; only U.S. Persons may be employed. • Possess a High School Diploma or GED and at least two years of mechanical assembly experience. • Communicate effectively and collaborate within a team-driven culture.
