About the Role
The Operator III is responsible for prepping machines for shift start‑up or product change, operating auxiliary equipment to produce various manufactured products, ensuring quality and production goals are met, and performing troubleshooting on equipment as needed. Production duties include monitoring and operating processing equipment with minimal supervision, assisting higher‑level operators, using measuring tools to verify specifications, training lower‑level operators, handling material‑handling equipment, updating the shop‑floor management system and CIP boards, spotting malfunctions, communicating with technicians for root‑cause analysis, and performing basic preventative maintenance. Supply responsibilities involve visually checking workstations for low supplies, transporting materials using appropriate handling equipment, notifying supervisors when reorder levels are reached, identifying raw material types and part numbers, reviewing bills of materials, and communicating any shortages. Quality and testing tasks require testing and inspecting produced products, reporting non‑conforming items, executing rework or isolation procedures, entering accurate data into the quality control system, and identifying raw materials that do not meet quality requirements. The role seeks candidates with basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills, good manual dexterity for handling very small parts, the ability to perform repetitive functions, effective communication, the capability to interpret work orders, instructions, blueprints, or drawings, and a commitment to superior service and high quality standards. Education requirements are a high school diploma or equivalent combined with 6–12 months of related experience, though equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered. • Wear required personal protective equipment and work variable shifts. • Demonstrate basic literacy, arithmetic, manual dexterity, and ability to follow work orders or blueprints. • Minimum education: high school diploma or equivalent with 6–12 months related experience.

Compensation includes a base hourly rate of $20.00–$22.00 depending on factors such as education and experience, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.
