About the Role
As an in‑house contract recruiter you will focus on high‑volume hiring for field positions such as HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing across North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. You will manage the full recruitment cycle for 50‑55 requisitions, partnering closely with hiring managers, branch leaders, and regional HR managers to deliver top‑tier talent and a seamless candidate experience. • Manage end-to-end recruitment for 50-55 high-volume field positions across NC, SC, and VA. • Partner with hiring managers and regional HR leaders to define job requirements and hiring strategies. • Conduct intake meetings, screen resumes, and lead phone and in-person interviews. • Develop and execute sourcing strategies using job boards, social media, and referral programs. • Represent NearU at career fairs and recruitment events. • Extend offers, coordinate the offer process, and maintain accurate ATS/HRIS records. • Track weekly recruiting metrics and ensure compliance with documentation standards.

What You Bring
The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial, organized self‑starter with excellent communication skills who thrives in a fast‑paced environment. You should be passionate about following recruitment processes, building productive partnerships with branches, and driving hiring outcomes. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and at least three years of recruiting or talent acquisition experience, preferably with high‑volume and corporate hiring. Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication, behavioral interviewing, negotiation, and ATS proficiency are required, while experience in home services, skilled trades, or multi‑location businesses is a strong plus. • Require minimum 3+ years of recruiting experience with high-volume or corporate hiring. • Demonstrate strong communication, behavioral interviewing, negotiation, and ATS proficiency. • Experience in home services, skilled trades, or multi-location businesses is a strong plus.
