About the Role
The Engineer will monitor project progress, document scope changes, and coordinate approvals and handover with relevant authorities. Daily duties include liaising with contractors and subcontractors to verify contract compliance, reviewing work against codes and quality requirements, and managing change orders and client communications. • Administer contracts as the Engineer’s Representative. • Monitor project progress and record scope changes. • Coordinate approvals and handover with authorities and agencies. • Liaise with contractors and subcontractors to ensure compliance. • Review work for adherence to codes, standards, and quality requirements. • Recommend and approve change orders, notifying relevant parties. • Manage client expectations and deliver regular progress updates. • Ensure Parsons’ rights and obligations are upheld throughout execution.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a civil engineering degree from a recognized university and possess at least 15 years of experience for Resident Engineers or 20 years for Senior Resident Engineers. Prior supervision of infrastructure, roads, bridges, and community development projects in the UAE, familiarity with NOC procedures and Dubai government specifications, and strong English communication skills are essential. A solid grasp of technical standards, codes, and construction health, safety, and environmental regulations is also required. • Hold a civil engineering degree from a recognized university. • Possess at least 15 years of experience for Resident Engineers or 20 years for Senior Resident Engineers. • Demonstrate supervision experience on infrastructure, road, bridge, and community development projects, preferably in the UAE. • Know NOC procedures, commissioning, and Dubai government authority specifications. • Communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken. • Possess solid technical knowledge of relevant standards and codes. • Understand construction health, safety, and environmental regulations.
