About the Role
• Provide technical design and support for municipal infrastructure projects (water, sewer, roads, stormwater, site servicing). • Lead multidisciplinary project teams through functional design, detailed design, and construction administration. • Maintain regular communication with clients, agencies, utilities, and other stakeholders. • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, support RFP submissions, and travel to other Dillon offices as needed. • Mentor junior staff, offering technical guidance and coaching to support their professional growth. • Participate in professional associations and committees to enhance Dillon’s corporate profile.

Dillon’s Linear Municipal Infrastructure discipline seeks a Civil Engineer to join its multidisciplinary team in Yellowknife. The role combines strong leadership and technical capabilities with relationship‑building across internal and external stakeholders. Success in this fast‑paced, agile environment requires excellent communication, business acumen, and an entrepreneurial mindset. • Hold a civil engineering degree and be licensed (or eligible within six months) as a professional engineer. • Possess 8+ years of consulting experience designing municipal infrastructure, preferably in northern Canadian communities. • Demonstrate expertise in contract administration, municipal servicing standards, and public/agency consultation. • Exhibit strong proposal writing, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
