About the Role
HDR seeks a Marketing Coordinator to collaborate closely with technical staff, senior marketing coordinators, and proposal managers in organizing and supporting proposal submissions for our Power, Industrial, and Waste programs. The role involves capture planning, proposal preparation, and responding to federal solicitations in a fast‑paced environment that values strong organizational and digital skills. • Support senior proposal coordinators/managers from capture planning through kickoff meetings to final submission • Participate in concurrent proposals: review meetings, follow‑up actions, production, and final submittals • Track amendments and clarifications to incorporate required information • Develop marketing materials such as project sheets, resumes, presentations, and other collateral • Edit and proofread proposal documents • Evaluate technical content to meet RFP requirements, evaluation criteria, and compliance • Participate in quality reviews of proposals and interview materials • Manage client relationship and financial reporting metrics and dashboards • Plan and coordinate large internal meetings (in‑person or virtual) • Maintain inventory of branded materials for client visits, conferences, and recruiting • Deconstruct proposal content and update firm’s database with latest industry trends and success stories • Support client interview activities and proposal debriefs • Apply best practices and process improvement initiatives

What You Bring
• Understand capture planning and proposal development process; adhere to schedules and ensure compliance • Understand quality, budget, and schedule performance of proposal efforts • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience • Experience in the A/E/C industry • Demonstrated experience in organizational and coordination activities • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills • Self‑starter with a history of completing projects with limited oversight • Strong project management abilities; ability to juggle multiple priorities under tight deadlines • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work cooperatively with diverse and remote teams • Ability and desire to travel and engage with others in‑person • Excellent written and verbal communication skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including InDesign
