About the Role

In this position you will act as the eyes and ears on‑site, ensuring that major infrastructure and non‑infrastructure projects meet the highest quality‑assurance standards under the NEC contract. You will monitor Strategic Delivery Partners and Delivery Partners, champion a ‘right first time’ approach, witness critical construction hold points and commissioning tests, and mentor junior team members while pursuing continuous improvement. • Support health, safety and security management on‑site. • Manage construction inspections and resolve defects. • Administer supervisor‑related contracts within CEMAR. • Resolve pre‑construction and on‑site challenges. • Support commissioning activities. • Assist delivery teams and produce reports. • Travel regularly to construction sites across the region. • Provide limited out‑of‑hours availability when required.

What You Bring

The role requires a strong working knowledge of NEC4 contract management, specifically supervisor duties, and a background in civil or process engineering at HNC level or above. Proven experience in construction management and contractor supervision, familiarity with CDM, CESWI, WIMES and Regulation 31, and excellent communication and reporting skills are essential. A NEBOSH qualification and water‑sector experience are desirable. • Possess strong NEC4 contract‑management knowledge, especially supervisor duties. • Hold a Civil or Process Engineering qualification (HNC level or higher). • Demonstrate proven construction‑management and contractor‑supervision experience. • Be familiar with CDM, CESWI, WIMES and Regulation 31 standards. • Communicate clearly and produce concise reporting. • (Desirable) Hold a NEBOSH health & safety qualification. • (Desirable) Have experience in the water or utilities sector.
