About the Role

As a Senior Civil Engineer you will shape civil functions throughout the lifecycle of water and wastewater schemes, from concept design through to commissioning, ensuring all civil aspects are meticulously integrated and meet legislative standards. • Provide design support and guidance for schemes, ensuring compliance with legislation and standards. • Collaborate with commercial, operational, and construction teams to develop efficient, practical, and safe solutions. • Engage positively with the client, managing relationships and adopting a one‑team approach. • Manage interfaces and integration of civil design with other disciplines and produce documentation. • Act as technical checker on project documents and conduct technical reviews across teams. • Identify opportunities to improve delivery processes, including standard designs, sustainable solutions, and digital tools. • Undertake site reviews to ensure buildability and integration with existing systems. • Support civil engineering team development, coaching and mentoring engineers, and allocating appropriate resources.

What You Bring

The role requires a degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, Chartered Engineer (CEng) status, proven experience delivering high‑quality outputs to design, quality and safety standards, strong communication skills, a methodical problem‑solving approach, a valid driving licence and willingness to travel across the operational region. • Degree in Civil Engineering or related field. • Chartered Engineer (CEng) status with a relevant Institution. • Proven experience delivering high‑quality outputs to design, quality and safety standards. • Strong communication skills with team members and stakeholders. • Methodical problem‑solving approach. • Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites.
