About the Role

The Project Manager General will plan and manage small‑to‑medium single‑discipline projects as well as larger routine projects, coordinating professional staff throughout development, establishing client relationships, and participating in marketing, contractual, design, and production meetings. They will ensure compliance through agency reviews, lead design development sessions, track financial performance, and work closely with business, accounting, and department leaders for project reviews. The role also involves directing multidisciplinary teams from initiation to close‑out, managing multiple projects concurrently, and implementing QA/QC procedures. • Plan and oversee small to medium single‑discipline projects and larger routine projects. • Coordinate professional staff and balance team workload throughout project development. • Establish and maintain client relationships while engaging in marketing and contractual meetings. • Conduct agency compliance reviews and lead design development work sessions. • Monitor project finances and adjust resources to meet schedule and budget targets. • Collaborate with Business/Accounting Managers, Project Controllers, and Department Managers for regular project reviews. • Direct multidisciplinary teams from project initiation through close‑out. • Manage multiple small to medium projects concurrently. • Implement quality assurance and quality control procedures.

What You Bring

Preferred qualifications include a relevant license or certification and PMP certification. Required qualifications are a bachelor’s degree in a related field, at least seven years of relevant experience, a minimum of two years in project management, strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills, and a commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned culture. • Hold a relevant license or certification and PMP certification (preferred). • Hold a bachelor’s degree, 7+ years of experience, 2+ years in project management, strong communication skills, and commitment to an employee‑owned culture (required).
