About the Role
• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, commissioning, point-to-point checkouts, troubleshooting, and replacement of HVAC control and building control systems. • Diagnose and repair electronic and digital control system malfunctions. • Test and modify system software as needed. • Sketch and document field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections and drawings. • Provide training, manuals, and documentation to customers on electronic control system operation. • Support mechanical staff in troubleshooting issues. • Ensure work complies with company, state, local, federal regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements. • Compile project documentation such as certificates of completion, training forms, and punch lists. • Conduct self-study to maintain technical proficiency and complete required certifications. • Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, submittals, specifications, software programs, schematics, and product manuals. • Follow Johnson Controls and customer safety standards, and lead safety awareness for technicians and subcontractors. • Commission, troubleshoot, install, or perform point-to-point checks with Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems. • Program and troubleshoot various HVAC control brands, especially Metasys. • Work with BAS communication protocols such as BACnet MSTP, BACnet IP, N2, P1, Modbus, LON.

What You Bring
• Experience with commercial or industrial HVAC mechanical equipment, controls, building automation, electrical, or MEP systems. • Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearances. • Proficiency with Johnson Controls Metasys® DDC system. • Experience using SMP, SCT, and/or CCT, and designing control systems. • Technical school or associate degree in HVAC, electronics, mechanical systems, engineering, computer technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.

Benefits
Pay ranges from $29.00 to $36.00 per hour, negotiable based on experience, and includes a company vehicle. Employees are eligible for benefits on day one, receive three weeks of paid vacation, five sick days, three floating holidays, and ten standard holidays (6.5 weeks total).
