About the Role
The Asphalt Plant Maintenance Mechanic – Loader Operator position is based in Rochester, NY, and supports the production of ready‑mix concrete for multiple facilities in the region. The role combines routine plant upkeep with material handling to keep the batch plant operating efficiently. Work is performed in environments with moving machinery, variable weather conditions, and elevated noise levels, requiring adherence to strict safety standards. The position also involves travel to various sites as needed to provide operational support. • Perform regular maintenance (greasing, cutting, welding, servicing air/pneumatic systems) • Maintain and repair conveyor belts and conveying systems • Operate front‑end loader to deliver aggregates and materials to the batch plant • Travel to multiple facilities to support operations as needed • Follow Heidelberg safety protocols
