About the Role

Safety is the most important part of all jobs at Nucor; candidates must be able to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. The role demands strict adherence to company and OSHA safety standards. • Follow company and OSHA safety procedures. • Perform daily truck inspections and report defects to the manager. • Clean delivery truck as needed. • Pick up and deliver roll‑off containers or trailers locally. • Maintain a clean motor vehicle record. • Follow written and oral instructions. • Meet attendance schedule with dependability and consistency.

What You Bring

Applicants must submit a complete work history with employer names, dates, job titles, and detailed responsibilities; any employment gaps must be noted with dates. • 3 years verified motor vehicle driving experience within the past 5 years. • Hold a Class A CDL in the state of residence. • Be at least 25 years old. • 2–3 years experience in an industrial/outdoor work environment. • Pass DOT physical and FMCSR driver qualification. • Communicate effectively in English, both written and oral. • Knowledge of hazards and safety precautions for equipment operation. • Minimum 1 year roll‑off experience (preferred). • Minimum 1 year hydraulic system knowledge and experience (preferred).
