Job Highlights
About the Role
Candidates will work with various firewalls, switches, and network security devices, handling firmware updates, IPS/I4DS signature updates, and device commissioning. They will install, configure, and maintain NMS software and backup/recovery solutions, as well as manage firmware and software patching. Additionally, they must interpret logs and diagnostic alerts from firewalls, switches, ePO, endpoints, WSUS, and other monitoring tools. The role requires reading process control network architectures and mapping cyber‑security devices according to the Purdue model. Responsibilities include verifying compliance with RIL cyber security standards, addressing deviations, and analyzing firewall rule impacts. Candidates must also understand domain controller functions, modify domain policies as directed, and apply cyber‑security advisories for firewalls. Management of anti‑virus, anti‑malware, whitelisting, HIPS, and data loss prevention will be performed via ePO, including regular updates of USB AV scanners and pattern files. Server and endpoint hardening, as well as execution of cyber‑security audit tools on host machines, are required. The position involves configuring VLAN and DMZ networks and proposing improvements to the cyber‑security posture. Participation in root‑cause identification and remediation of incidents is also expected. Candidates will update BIOS firmware, install software patches, and maintain failure logs and detailed reports. They will collect and maintain asset inventories, assist the EIC in preparing disaster recovery plans, and manage software licenses. Periodic KPI‑based cyber‑security performance reports must be generated, with follow‑up until issues are resolved.
