About the Role
The position plays a key role in delivering safe, reliable structural solutions for heavy‑industrial and mining facilities while working closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project outcomes. • Deliver structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures supporting heavy industrial and mining facilities. • Develop and review foundation system designs to ensure long‑term performance and safety. • Produce structural drawings, calculations, and high‑quality construction documentation. • Conduct construction reviews, field verifications, and design assessments during client site visits. • Collaborate with clients, internal design partners, and contractors to support project delivery. • Prepare and contribute to technical reports and proposal documents. • Support project management activities to keep work on schedule and within budget.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Professional Engineer licence in British Columbia, with 5–8 years of structural design experience, preferably in consulting for industrial or mining sectors. Proficiency with CSA design standards, national and provincial building codes, and analysis software such as STAAD‑PRO, S‑Frame, SAP2000, and SAFE is required, along with strong communication skills and the ability to travel to project sites. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a BC Professional Engineer licence. • Possess 5–8 years of structural engineering design experience, ideally in consulting for industrial or mining sectors. • Demonstrate knowledge of CSA design standards and National/Provincial Building Codes. • Proficient with structural analysis software such as STAAD‑PRO, S‑Frame, SAP2000, and SAFE. • Familiar with AutoCAD; experience with Revit Structure is an asset. • Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively. • Maintain a valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to project sites. • French language skills are a plus.
