About the Role

• Commission and start up newly installed cooling systems. • Perform maintenance, service, and repairs on chilled water, DX, economiser, in‑row, perimeter, and containment cooling systems. • Supervise installation contractors and enforce best practices. • Use specialist software for system analysis and reporting. • Participate in an on‑call rota (one week in five). • Identify and propose onsite opportunities for upgrades or additional services. • Join a specialist team of 11+ engineers and apprentices. • Cover the M4 corridor primarily, with potential travel elsewhere.

What You Bring

Schneider Electric is looking for a Cooling Service Engineer to commission, service, and repair critical cooling equipment across a variety of sites, with frequent national travel and training in Italy. The position requires working in critical environments such as data centres, traveling UK‑wide, and participating in an on‑call rota while strictly following safety, compliance, and reporting procedures. • Diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently. • Hold F‑Gas qualification and full certification (City & Guilds Level 2+, NVQ, HNC). • Have previous experience in cooling service roles with strong knowledge of critical cooling systems. • Possess Turbo Core experience (advantageous). • Demonstrate confidence using technical software and diagnostics tools. • Maintain a full UK driving licence (company van provided). • Willing to travel UK‑wide and complete training in Italy (Padua, near Venice).
