About the Role
The Regional Manager is tasked with addressing field‑based assignments within a designated region or specific “store within a store” location, as well as on a national scale. Their primary objective is to rehabilitate these locations, restoring performance to operational standards and profitability goals, ensuring a smooth transition back to regular management. The manager acts as an agile operator, adapts to business needs, and maintains proactive communication with the Regional Director regarding all operational aspects of their assignments. Assignments may last up to ten weeks, requiring the Regional Manager to relocate quickly and assume full managerial responsibilities, including talent acquisition, learning and development, and daily operations. They will oversee the complete talent acquisition process for Sales Representatives and may also participate in Store Manager interviews. • Rehabilitate underperforming stores to meet operational and profitability targets. • Communicate proactively with the Regional Director on all assigned operational matters. • Relocate quickly for assignments up to ten weeks, assuming full managerial duties. • Lead talent acquisition for Sales Representatives and support Store Manager interviews. • Oversee daily operations, learning, and development initiatives. • Manage retail locations: Bass Pro – Manteca, CA; Bass Pro – Rocklin, CA; Bass Pro – San Jose, CA; GWL – Manteca, CA.
