About the Role
Caregivers assist residents with all aspects of daily life as outlined in their care plans, including personal care, food service, housekeeping, laundry, behavior management, socialization, and activities. They ensure residents’ safety, comfort, dignity, and confidentiality throughout their shift. The role requires standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lb, and using proper body mechanics to support residents. It also involves routine housekeeping tasks and supporting residents during activities. • Provide personal care such as bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding per care plan. • Escort residents to meals and activities. • Ensure residents are clean, properly groomed, safe, and fed during shifts. • Document all services provided each shift. • Immediately report any change in a resident’s condition to a supervisor.

What You Bring
• Certified Nursing Assistant or DHS certification with a high school diploma. • Experience working with elderly, preferably with dementia. • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lb and perform physical tasks using proper body mechanics.

The Caregiver position is based at Brandywine Living at Upper Providence and is offered as either full‑time or part‑time, with shifts from 3 pm‑11 pm or 11 pm‑7 am. Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $21.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications.
