AV/IT/Security Technical Solutions Lead

About the Role

The AV/IT/Security Technical Solutions Lead works side‑by‑side with the team throughout the full project lifecycle, from initiation and design to construction and handover. This role handles fit‑outs and refurbishments for tenants and landlords in commercial, retail, industrial, hospitality, and education sectors, coordinating multiple vendors, preparing specifications, timelines, tender documents, and weekly reports to keep projects within budget and schedule. Blending pre‑sales technical expertise with hands‑on project management, the role requires leading requirement‑gathering sessions, designing integrated AV/IT/Security solutions, developing detailed Bills of Materials, supporting business development, managing competitive procurement, overseeing contractors, and ensuring quality, timelines, and budget compliance. • Lead requirement gathering sessions with clients to define AV/IT/Security technology needs and specifications • Design comprehensive integrated solutions encompassing audiovisual, information technology, and security systems • Develop detailed Bills of Materials (BOM) and technical specifications for tender documentation • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for AV/IT/Security solutions across the business • Support Business Development initiatives through technical solution design, client presentations and budgeting • Prepare competitive tender responses and technical proposals • Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies for prospective projects • Collaborate with internal team to identify technology opportunities • Manage end‑to‑end project implementation from design through commissioning and handover • Oversee competitive procurement processes, including vendor selection • Coordinate with appointed contractors throughout project delivery lifecycle • Review and approve design submittals, conduct site inspections, and manage acceptance testing • Ensure projects meet quality standards, timelines, and budget requirements • Engage confidently with internal teams, external clients, and vendor partners • Facilitate clear communication of technical requirements and project expectations • Manage contractors through installation, testing, commissioning, and final acceptance phases • Lead client handover processes and provide technical documentation

What You Bring

Successful candidates have proven experience in AV/IT/Security pre‑sales solution design, hands‑on consulting and implementation, and a track record of delivering technology projects end‑to‑end. Preferred certifications include CTS, CCNA, PMP, or related AV/IT/Security credentials. Core attributes include client focus, results orientation, strong communication, organization, resilience, and technical proficiency in solution architecture, vendor management, quality assurance, and documentation. • Proven experience in AV/IT/Security pre‑sales solution design and BOM development • Hands‑on experience in AV/IT/Security consulting and project implementation • Demonstrated track record of managing technology projects from initiation to completion • Experience with procurement processes and vendor management • CTS (Certified Technology Specialist) – InfoComm/AVIXA certification • CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or equivalent networking certification • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification • Certification in related field in AV/IT/Security technologies • Strong communicator with ability to collaborate effectively across diverse stakeholder groups • Highly organized with structured approach to project planning and execution • Resilient under pressure with proven ability to manage tight deadlines and high‑stakes deliverables • Solution architecture and system integration expertise • Technical documentation and specification writing
