About the Role

In this role you will manage multiple investigations into maintenance requirements, working closely with peers and the relevant Design Authorities to gather the necessary data. You will steer each investigation towards a clear optimisation outcome, ensuring that the findings are integrated into the team’s Agile workflow and tracked via Azure DevOps. Your contributions will help determine whether current maintenance practices are already optimal or where efficiencies can be introduced. • Lead multiple maintenance requirement investigations to identify optimisation opportunities. • Collect and analyse data from team members and Design Authorities to support findings. • Deliver investigation outcomes through the Scrum Agile process using Azure DevOps. • Apply UK Submarines enterprise experience and safety‑case expertise to challenge existing practices. • Maintain or obtain a Security Check clearance; eligibility limited to UK or MoD‑approved dual nationals.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has experience within the UK Submarines enterprise—such as the Navy, MOD or a prime industry partner—and a proven track record of developing and challenging maintenance requirements. Additional strengths include safety‑case knowledge, an investigative mindset, proficiency with Azure DevOps, and strong report‑writing abilities. A Security Check clearance is required for this position; Rolls‑Royce will support candidates who need to obtain it. Applicants must be UK nationals, or dual nationals approved by the MoD, due to the sensitive nature of the work. • Demonstrate an investigative mindset and produce clear, professional reports.
