About the Role
Interns will work across diverse client industries, handling tasks such as user research, data collection, production of client deliverables, programming, design standards development, and change‑management communications. The team’s expertise includes workplace and experience strategy, real‑estate positioning, portfolio analysis, master planning, innovation and sustainability consulting, design guidelines, web tool development, and digital experience design. • Conduct primary and secondary user research and gather data. • Support workshop planning, presentation creation, and facilitation. • Translate research insights into design directions and change‑management strategies. • Produce diagrams, journey maps, and behavior profiles to inform design concepts. • Create storyboards, cartoons, and visual communications for client deliverables. • Develop design concept diagrams and contribute to design standards.

What You Bring
The Summer Design, Strategy, and Technology Internship is based in our Seattle office and runs full‑time from June 2 to August 7, 2026. Interns join a creative studio environment and are expected to be available for the entire program. Candidates must be enrolled in an Architecture, Interior Design, Graphic Design, Business, Real Estate, Information Design, or Urban Technology program, having completed at least three undergraduate years or one graduate year, and plan to return to school after the internship. Required skills include strong strategic, analytical, communication, and interpersonal abilities, as well as proficiency with InDesign, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office; Revit experience is a plus. We look for individuals who have demonstrated leadership in school or community settings, possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities, and can communicate effectively in verbal, written, and graphic formats. Resourcefulness, self‑motivation, enthusiasm, and the capacity to collaborate in a fast‑paced environment are essential. • Utilize InDesign, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office; Revit knowledge advantageous. • Demonstrate leadership experience in academic or community projects. • Exhibit strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills. • Collaborate effectively in a fast‑moving, multidisciplinary team environment.
