About the Role

The Quality Assurance Representative will join a major program and construction management team supporting a large government customer on a critical border security infrastructure project, operating from the Eagle Pass, TX field office and working on‑site from project trailers, often in remote locations. The role involves daily QA observations, enforcing safety standards, implementing Parsons’ QA process, conducting comprehensive inspections and testing, reviewing contractor submittals, monitoring submittal timeliness, providing written recommendations, ensuring compliance with quality control plans, and submitting detailed QA reports within 24 hours, while actively participating in pre‑construction, progress, and coordination meetings. • Perform daily QA inspections and document findings within 24 hours. • Enforce safety standards and verify contractor compliance with hazard analyses. • Implement Parsons’ Quality Assurance Plan and conduct full‑scope inspections and testing. • Review and approve/reject contractor submittals, tracking timeliness to meet contract deadlines. • Conduct preparatory inspections to confirm readiness of drawings, materials, equipment, and qualified personnel. • Monitor and report on construction quality control and safety reports. • Participate in pre‑construction, progress, and coordination meetings with government and contractors. • Collaborate with the site Project Manager, Engineers, and QA team to achieve project success.

What You Bring

Candidates must have at least five years of construction‑related experience overseeing safety and quality on multi‑million‑dollar Federal projects, a bachelor's degree in engineering or construction management or equivalent experience, proficiency with web‑based project management systems, U.S. citizenship with ability to pass federal background checks, a valid driver’s license, physical capability to work on rough terrain, and strong English communication skills. Desired qualifications include experience reviewing CPM schedules, prior work on remote large‑scale construction projects, recent completion of a Construction Quality Management course, OSHA 30‑hour safety training, and no specific security clearance is required. • Minimum 5 years experience overseeing safety and quality on large Federal construction projects. • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience. • Proficiency with web‑based PMIS tools such as Procore, Kahua, USACE RMS, or NAVFAC eCMS. • U.S. citizenship with ability to pass federal background checks and obtain DHS suitability. • Valid driver’s license and physical ability to work on rough terrain and stand for long periods. • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. • Experience reviewing CPM schedules and identifying potential delays. • Completion of a Construction Quality Management (CQM) course within the past 5 years. • OSHA 30‑hour safety training or equivalent completed within the past 5 years.
