About the Role

Job Summary: Safely operates a heavy‑duty truck to perform assigned duties on transfer routes. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Operates vehicle in compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other regulations, maintaining a clean and safe vehicle. Performs pre‑ and post‑trip inspections using the Driver Vehicle Inspection Report and reports any issues. Immediately reports unsafe situations or service calls to the Operations Manager or Dispatch. Participates in scheduled training, briefings, and meetings. Works with Operations Managers to improve route efficiencies and identify problems. Performs all duties as scheduled, assists other drivers, and notifies management of incidents, accidents, injuries, or property damage. Communicates customer requests, dumps containers, leaves locations clean, completes customer tickets for excess yardage, positions containers properly, follows route assignments, and completes documentation at the end of the route. • Operate heavy‑duty truck safely on transfer routes following OSHA, DOT, and company standards. • Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip vehicle inspections and complete Driver Vehicle Inspection Reports. • Report unsafe conditions, service calls, incidents, accidents, injuries, and property damage promptly. • Participate in training, briefings, and meetings as required. • Collaborate with Operations Managers to improve route efficiency and resolve problems. • Assist other drivers and perform duties assigned by Operations Manager or Dispatch. • Dump containers, clean customer sites, position containers correctly, and complete customer tickets for excess yardage. • Follow route assignments and complete end‑of‑day documentation.

What You Bring

Qualifications: No education or prior experience required, but a Commercial Driver’s License (Class B) is required and applicants must be at least 18 years old. Must pass a pre‑employment DOT drug screen, physical, background check, and have an acceptable driving record. Real ID: Candidates may need a REAL ID or TSA‑approved alternative to travel by air or access federal property. • Hold a valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (minimum age 18) and maintain an acceptable driving record. • Pass DOT drug screening, physical examination, background check, and motor‑vehicle record review.
