About the Role

Your work will involve designing and delivering land development and municipal infrastructure, preparing analyses, drawings and cost estimates, and providing technical advisory services. You will also support field staff, conduct on‑site reviews, and liaise with municipal, utility and approval agencies to ensure compliance. • Design land development and municipal infrastructure, including site servicing, stormwater management, water resources, distribution, sewage collection, and roadway design. • Produce detailed analyses, designs, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, and technical reports. • Provide technical advisory services and mentor junior team members. • Support field staff during contract administration and conduct on‑site reviews for projects under construction. • Coordinate with municipal, utility, and approval agencies to ensure compliance and project success. • Assist in preparing RFPs, bids, and proposal documents to secure new opportunities.

What You Bring

We are looking for candidates with 5–10 years of municipal infrastructure or land development experience, an undergraduate civil engineering degree or diploma from an accredited institution, and a professional designation in Alberta (P.Eng., P.L. Eng., or P.Tech.). Strong knowledge of local and environmental standards, proven design experience in sewer, watermain and road projects, and familiarity with planning and approval processes are essential. Experience with Alberta municipalities and First Nations is considered an asset. • Possess 5–10 years of experience in municipal infrastructure or land development projects for public and private sectors. • Hold an undergraduate degree or diploma in civil engineering from an accredited institution. • Maintain a professional designation in Alberta: P.Eng., P.L. Eng., or P.Tech. • Demonstrate strong knowledge of local and environmental standards and guidelines. • Proven design experience in sewer, watermain, and road projects, including planning and approval processes.
