About the Role

Our mission is to provide timely and accurate payment of Sales Compensation to Autodesk’s global sales team. The role requires a focus on accuracy, meeting deadlines, and handling multiple challenging deliverables. You will work closely with sales and finance teams, delivering analytics and proactive solutions. Key responsibilities include understanding and applying the Autodesk Sales Compensation Plan, overseeing accurate calculation and submission of variable commissions, and managing monthly sales‑attainment analysis to explain variances. You will support roll‑outs of commission‑system changes, create crediting rules and target sheets, and handle manual adjustments while adhering to SOX audit requirements. You will maintain and suggest improvements to commission tools, lead automation initiatives, and support global projects. Guidance is provided to team members, with escalation to management when necessary, and flexibility in working hours is required to accommodate meetings across different geographies. • Implement and administer Autodesk Sales Compensation Plan independently. • Accurately calculate and submit variable commission earnings. • Manage monthly sales attainment analysis and investigate variances. • Provide high‑quality support and reporting to sales teams. • Create and maintain crediting rules and sales‑rep target sheets. • Process manual adjustments and ensure SOX compliance for audits. • Identify and implement improvements and automation for commission tools. • Lead process‑improvement and automation initiatives across global teams. • Mentor team members and escalate issues to management when needed. • Adapt work hours for cross‑geo meetings and support globally dispersed sales teams.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate consistently applies sound judgment, possesses strong organizational skills, and can work autonomously while meeting tight deadlines. A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Operations Management, or equivalent, plus five or more years of progressive finance experience—preferably in sales commissions or operations—is required. Advanced Excel, Power BI, and experience with commissions platforms are essential. • Apply sound judgment, strong organization, and multitasking in a fast‑paced environment. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Business or equivalent and 5+ years of finance experience, with advanced Excel, Power BI, and commissions platform skills.
