About the Role

The Assistant Program Manager – Mechanical will support the planning and management of mechanical systems in building construction projects. This role assists in overseeing HVAC, plumbing, and fire‑protection systems across multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with design specifications and regulatory standards. • Assist in managing mechanical scope across multiple construction projects. • Coordinate with design consultants, MEP engineers, and contractors during planning and execution. • Support scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation for mechanical systems. • Monitor installation progress to ensure compliance with design specs, timelines, and quality standards. • Participate in design reviews and suggest improvements for system efficiency and constructability. • Help procure mechanical materials and subcontractors in collaboration with procurement teams. • Track and manage RFIs, submittals, and change orders related to mechanical work. • Conduct site inspections to verify work quality, safety, and code compliance. • Resolve mechanical design or installation issues that arise during construction. • Maintain project documentation and provide regular progress reports to senior management. • Coordinate integration of mechanical systems with electrical, structural, and architectural disciplines.

What You Bring

Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related field and possess three to five years of experience with mechanical systems in the construction industry, preferably on buildings. Required knowledge includes HVAC, plumbing, fire protection design and installation, building codes, ASHRAE standards, and local regulations. Strong organizational, communication, and project coordination skills, as well as proficiency with MS Office, AutoCAD, and BIM software such as Revit MEP, are essential. • Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship; staffing agencies are not considered.

Benefits
