About the Role

We are seeking a Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to support a major data‑center construction project. The role involves managing cost planning and control throughout the full project lifecycle to ensure delivery on time and within budget for a large‑scale, mission‑critical facility. You will join our Cost Management team, providing expert cost consulting services and working closely with clients, contractors and project teams. • Manage cost planning and control throughout the project lifecycle. • Prepare detailed cost plans, estimates and budgets aligned with scope. • Monitor actual costs versus forecasts and recommend corrective actions. • Review and validate change orders to ensure contractual compliance. • Track contingencies, commitments and cost impacts across multiple packages. • Produce cost reports, forecasts and presentations for stakeholders. • Support procurement strategies, bid analysis and contractor negotiations. • Identify cost‑saving opportunities through value engineering and design optimization. • Ensure compliance with internal financial systems, client requirements and regulatory controls. • Maintain benchmarking data and historical cost records for continuous improvement. • Collaborate with project managers and design teams to align scope, budget and schedule. • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors and internal teams. • Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.

What You Bring

This is an on‑site position that requires regular visits to project sites on the south side of the Atlanta metro area. On‑site presence and requirements may change depending on our client’s needs. • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or related field. • 3–5 years of experience in cost management or project controls. • Experience on large‑scale construction projects; data‑center experience preferred. • Knowledge of MEP systems and sustainable infrastructure is a plus. • Expertise in cost planning, budgeting, post‑contract cost control and change management. • Understanding of procurement strategies and commercial contract management. • RICS accreditation or progress toward it advantageous. • Strong communication and client‑facing skills. • Proficiency with cost‑management tools, Microsoft Office and cloud‑based applications.
